The book is divided into four sections: elbow arthroscopy, soft tissue and sports injuries to the elbow, elbow arthroplasty, and post-traumatic reconstruction of the elbow. The section on elbow arthroplasty includes separate chapters for each of the prostheses discussed because of the variation in implant techniques and the attributes of the various prostheses. The 74 contributors were selected based on their areas of specialty. A large number of photographs, line drawings, and radiographs are included. This book is intended to be used as a surgical guide for orthopaedic surgeons treating the elbow, and is designed to allow users to quickly find specific procedures.
