For college and student affairs leaders, faculty, and students, Dancy (adult and higher education, U. of Oklahoma in Norman) compiles 13 essays that explore the evolving meanings of diversity and equity and how these meanings bring up new challenges and considerations for collegiate leadership, management, and practice. Scholars of education, higher education, and educational leadership in the US discuss new ways of thinking about diversity, such as through interdisciplinarity, diversity management, and the impact of faculty race; identity politics on college campuses and the experiences of different groups; and specific contexts like physics students, Asian, African American, LGBT, and Latino students, and predominantly white institutions.
