商品簡介

Takeda presents students, academics, and researchers with an investigation of the act of translating the untranslatable, as embodied in the work of avant-garde poets. The author has organized the main body of her text into six chapters, focusing on translation as re-creative acquisition, form or meaning in translating St<’e>phane Mallarm<’e>, revising civilization in translating T.S. Eliot, reunifying enlightenment in prose poetry, re-creative secondness as a synthetic thirdness, and a variety of other related subjects. Noriko Takeda is a faculty member of Hiroshima University, Japan. Annotation c2015 Ringgold, Inc., Portland, OR (protoview.com)
