Joshua Clover is a communist. He is also a professor of literature and critical theory at the University of California Davis. A national award-winning essayist, poet, and cultural theorist, he was a senior writer atThe Village Voice and has a column at The Nation, where he has covered riots extensively. His most recent books areRed Epic and 1989: Bob Dylan Didn't Have This to Sing About.
