作者簡介
Pamela Frierson is the author of The Burning Island: A Journey through Myth and History in Volcano Country, Hawai?i, and many articles and essays. Raised in Hawai?i, she lived for many years in the American West, was on the staff of the Whole Earth Catalog, and was one of the founding publishers of the innovative quarterly Place Magazine. She returned to the Islands ?fteen years ago and now lives on the slopes of Mauna Kea Volcano, on Hawai?i Island, working as a freelance writer, photographer, and educator.
