New to this edition are chapters on situations involving biological, chemical, and radiation terrorism; AIDS patients and those with organ transplants; environmental emergencies; heat illness, hypothermia, and submersion injury; and envenomations. Treatment considerations sections have been expanded. The text does not provide a comprehensive differential diagnosis of diseases.
