Pain is the PITS Program is an educational pain management program dedicated to creating a universal educational protocol for America to bring patient and healthcare provider together for better understanding and compliance of pain care. In light of the opioid crisis and pain epidemic in America, the PITS Program approach utilizes a simplified P-I-T-S acronym guideline for the assessment and treatment of pain to avoid the need for continually escalating opioid narcotic therapy. The overall goal is to achieve a lifetime of comfort and quality of life, while focusing on the use of multidisciplinary opioid sparing integrative strategies, for individualized patient long-term care. The higher your PITS Score, the better will be your assessment and overall health and wellness!
