商品簡介
Looking at the interaction between migration, migration policies, and social protection in Europe, political and policy scholars argue that the governance of migration and social policy in the European Union results in differentiated but co-existing modes of integration and segregation, inclusion and exclusion, for migrants, with considerable variation between and within member states. Taking in turn the theoretical background, country studies, and critical issues, they explore such topics as human rights and the politics of migration, policy legacies and structural constraints leading to differential inclusion in Germany's conservative welfare state, and comparing metropolitan policy making for immigrants in France and Italy.
