Safety guard should set up around the pit at elevation 75.3 and the working platform forthe stator,the height of the guard should conform to the safety regulations.Warning signs should be put up as well.Safety net should be used at the inside of the platform to avoid falling.
When assembling the parts of the stator frames,fix the first part with steel ropes,chain blocks and other means until it is been assured for stabilization before set free fromthe crane hook.For the subsequent parts,insert all the coupling bolts and make it is stable,before loosening from the crane hook.
The platform for the roundness measuring device should be firm and solid; all theopenings should be blocked to avoid falling.When moving the measuring arms up anddown,check for obstacles to avoid damaging the dial gauges.
Carbon dioxide arc welding shall be used for the stator frame and the dovetail keys,good ventilation should be guaranteed against hazard gas such as monoxide may generatedue to high temperature of the welding.All the spatters should be cleaned and polished with flat chisel and angular grinders after the welding.
Before the stacking of the stator laminations,clean and paint the inner surfaces of thegenerator pit and cover the top with shroud; it may be opened temporarily for the lowering of the laminations.And set up heaters and dehumidifiers to create good environments ofdirt-free,constant temperature and humidity.
When installing the dovetail keys,the jacks and C-clamps should be fixed stably toprevent from falling.The platforms for each layers of the ring plates should be fixed firmand solid and be connected,safety guard should be set up at the sides.
When stacking,gloves should be worn.Rubber or epoxy hammers shall be used withcare for the alignment of the stator core stacking.No metal hammers should be used directly to the stator core.
Safety guards and warning signs should be employed when carrying out the statorloop test.Before the test,make thorough cleaning of the stator core,stator frame with vacuum cleaner and flour dough.Check the insulation of the exciting cable,which shall be protected with rubber pads.All the test equipments should be well earthed.
