商品簡介
Educators and others from the US, Greece, and Qatar offer 25 chapters outlining the theoretical framework (and requirements needed for implementation at the school and classroom levels) for the i2Flex classroom model for K-12 blended learning, developed by the American Community Schools of Athens and part of the Global Morfosis Paradigm (gMp), which has roots in Ancient Greece and involves the Morfosis educational philosophy and the Aristeia Leadership Trajectory in addition to the i2Flex instructional methodology. They describe the larger blended learning context, its demands, issues, and trends, including teacher preparation, professional development, design, and learner assessment; the three components of the gMp and the i2Flex methodology; and examples from educators who have piloted i2Flex in different teaching and learning contexts, such as elementary schools, middle school classes for English as a foreign language and foreign language learners, math, gamification in middle school, science, interdisciplinary English and social studies, analytical writing, physical education, French, humanities, college guidance, and student well-being and academic success.
