This book tackles mediation practice points in a new Questions and Answers format. Each entry will have four sections: QUESTION: Questions from actual mediations. For example: What do I do if the lawyers are telling me lies? STORY: to illustrate the question. Authentic but anonimised true life examples of problems you may face as a mediator. LAW/PRACTICE: Ethical, legal, procedural and commerial issues are highlighted and explained in straightforward language. Helpful cross-references to cases, protocols, codes of conduct and precedents are included. IN PRACTICE: Advice on options. Proven tips that can be used in mediation, which are supported by check lists and sample emails, scripts, and templates.
