經管類研究生實用英語讀寫（簡體書）

《經管類研究生實用英語讀寫》）的目標是讓學生通過精讀每個單元中抒寫中國當代重要經濟管理現象的正課文感知文本立意、邏輯佈局、語言倫理體現、英語語言技術和經濟管理類學術英語語言碎片，使學生獲得用英語真正表達其“心”和“腦”的信心，並在“依葫蘆畫瓢”正課文“樣子”的過程中練出自己用英語“內行”地用與自己身份（中國受過良好教育和專業培養的傑出青年）匹配的思想和語言進行抒寫的能力。為配合學生更好地理解正課文中所“埋下”的普通語言倫理知識和英語語言技術知識，每個單元都附有副課文，講述書面溝通或英語寫作知識，使學生在知識武裝下進行寫作練習，從而“熟能生巧”地生成自己的創作文本。
本書設計為16個單元，每個單元4個部分。每個單元4個部分分別是：*部分是正課文，第二部分是副課文，第三部分是結合本單元正課文和副課文進行的閱讀練習，第四部分是結合本單元正課文和副課文進行的寫作練習。16個單元正課文內容是在中國創業的個人經濟意義、中國組織形象、中國農業企業、中國紅酒企業的悲喜、中國特色小鎮管理、中國社會資本化程度、中國企業的現代化和後現代化、管理創新發生機制、中國傳統管理思想和西方現代管理思想之異同、中美貿易摩擦的經濟發展戰略含義、“一帶一路”發展對中國教育產業的影響、在北京就業的青年的*理論工資水平、中國企業家的“生意經”來源、中國“經濟人”的社會意義、中國現代“社會主義村莊”的經濟發展機制、中國留學生歸國就業的經濟學解讀。

 

李桂榮，1965年10月出生，中國人民大學外國語學院教授，文學博士，管理學博士，牛津大學訪問學者，劍橋大學訪問學者, 北京市研究生英語教學研究會常務理事。代表作：《創新型企業文化的培育》、《英語語流中的語音語調》、《英語學術期刊論文寫作原理與實務》、《創傷敘事：安東尼·伯吉斯創傷文學作品研究》、Contemporary China Economy and Management: Listening and Speaking。在中國人民大學從事研究生英語教學25年，近5年教授學生（包括全日制學生和非全日制學生）每年近1千人，目前主要講授經管類碩士生學術英語課和經管類研究生博士英語課。

1.本教材的選材紮根中國大地，閱讀材料是以中國當代經濟管理情況為背景抒寫的英語文本，旨在提高經管類研究生“以專業視角講述'中國故事'”的創作性英語寫作能力。
2.本教材的編寫具有創新性。本教材的正課文是抒寫中國當代重要經濟、管理現象，副課文是講述書面溝通或英語寫作知識，之後結合正副課文編排有開放性的閱讀練習和寫作練習以及教師點評，讓學生練出自己用英語“內行”地、用與自己身份相匹配的思想和語言進行創作性寫作的能力。
3.本教材第 16 單元第 2 部分講述了經管類研究生“英語中國”英語課課程設計以及較為細緻的讀寫課教學方，附錄 II 展示了細緻的聽說課教學方案，供上同類課的師生參考。附錄 I 中展示了本書作者對《國富論》第 I 卷英文原版文本的閱讀結果，其中包括對全卷 11 章每章主題、論點和邏輯結構的提取以及對每章各自然段的“以一句話形式”所做的概括。
4.本教材配套有《經管類研究生實用英語聽說》，協同提高學生“以專業視角講述'中國故事'的創作性英語寫作能力和英語口語溝通能力。

A Start-up for a Graduate
For many years, we talk about young university graduates' different career starts in Shenzhen and Shanghai: In Shenzhen, they tend to start their own businesses and to be “little” bosses, and in Shanghai, they tend to join international companies and to feel good. Whether it's due to culture or life value difference, it leads very probably to their different career future, because most often people are what they are trained to be-those who join big companies grow to be professional managers, with CEO posts for those most successful; those who start their own businesses are likely to become “big” bosses if they are most successful.
Though both great CEOs and big bosses are indispensable in any market economy, unless his early salary (though often not high) is very urgent for his family, a graduate starts his/her career from his/her own start-up, because the gains are very probably maximized. A whole society perspective taken, though it's already 40 years since the beginning of the market oriented transition, people's business sense and especially money sense are not yet fully developed in China society compared to western developed market societies (as a signaling example, it was reported that the frauds for money to the Chinese public in 2016 the single year involved RMB 25.6 billions), without which the economy of the society is often relatively weak in the international competition-not gaining what it is supposed to gain.When there are many enough young people managing their own start ups, there are many enough surviving enterprises (though very often those disappearing are more
than those staying) and, even more important, many experienced enough future successful entrepreneurs (very often those who rise again and again from ashes of failure), which is very good to the prosperity of a society. For you．．．．
