本書稿由上海中國航海博物館提供，為“廣域萬象：人類航海的緯度與面向”國際學術研討會的會議論文集。收錄有15篇學術論文。文集圍繞海上交流展開，時間上從從宋代直至近代，空間上從中國近海直到遠洋地區。論文主題既有歷史地理方面的文獻考證，也有沉船考古的資料研究，還有近代舟船、船模研究，展示了人類航海活動的多個維度和面向。
作者簡介
中國航海博物館(China Maritime Museum)是我國首個經國務院批准設立的國家級航海博物館，是由國家交通運輸部、中國人民解放軍海軍、國家文物局和上海市人民政府共同支持建設的中國唯一的國家級航海博物館。位於上海浦東臨港新城。2006年1月20日在臨港新城滴水湖舉行中國航海博物館工程開工奠基儀式，2010年7月5日全面建成開放。
