Geoffrey Blight is Emeritus Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He has been active in research and field testing of silos and bulk storage structures for the past 35 years, being regularly consulted as an expert witness in court cases involving silo failure in several parts of the world.
