Mark S. Kiselica Ph.D., is professor and former chairperson of the Department of Counselor Education at the College of New Jersey. He earned his doctorate in counseling psychology from The Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA and has counseled hundreds of boys in schools, mental health centers, psychiatric hospitals, and prisons Director of the School Psychology Program in the Department of Psychology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Matt Englar-Carlson, Ph.D., is an associate professor of counseling at the California State University at Fullerton. He received his doctoral degree in counselor education from the Pennsylvania State University and has worked with men, boys, and families in community mental health centers and schools. He has co-authored two books, see below.

Arthur M. Horne, Ph.D., is a distinguished research professor of counseling psychology at the University of Georgia. He completed his Ph.D in counseling and educational psychology at Southern Illinois University. He was the co-investigator of ACT EARLY, a federal program for at-risk children, and has been a trainer for agencies addressing male issues of violence and aggression.
