Corruption and Post-Conflict Peacebuilding：Selling the Peace?

The 14 papers in this collection include selections from a conference on corruption and peacebuilding held at Oxford University during 2007, and five invited papers to augment the ones published as a special issue of the Journal of International Peacekeeping in 2008, which have themselves been revised and updated for this volume. Scholars of political science and law explore links between corruption and peace-building in terms of concepts and questions, case studies, and anti-corruption measures in peacebuilding contexts. Among the topics are corruption and government, aid and corruption in post-conflict countries, the process of creating a legally accountable Bosnian judiciary, Iraq, the nexus of militarization and corruption in post-conflict Sri Lanka, and international campaigns for extractive industry transparency in post-conflict settings.
