商品簡介
This study of electoral reform in the United States examines the effects of the 2002 Helping America Vote Act, and discusses ongoing problems associated with election processes. The work explores difficulties with voting technologies addressed by the legislation, but argues the structural problems from partisan elections officials, to ballot design, to overt efforts at voter suppression still threaten the integrity of the American electoral system. The volume is well researched and includes numerous tables drawn from statistical research.
