商品簡介
Drawing on his own 25 years of research, Lind (industrial development, Gotland University, Sweden) presents case studies from around the world, illustrating management strategies in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in a cross-cultural context. The first part of the book examines the relationship between small firms, the world economy, and the economic development process. The second part asks what is needed for SMEs to contribute to economic development. Some topics in this section include measures of small business growth, strategic and operational tools for SME management, SME collaboration, and the small firm in a global context. Part 3 contains 15 case studies, some only a few pages and some longer, with case questions. The book will be of interest to all those involved in SMEs and international management.
