本書集結國立臺灣師範大學EMI教學資源中心（Resource Center for English of Medium of Instruction, RCEMI）推動教師專業發展與教師專業社群之成果。本書作者皆參與本中心與美國德州大學奧斯汀分校合作之EMI教師移地培訓計畫，參與教師於美國進行專業進修後返臺，與德州大學教學專家進行三次共同備課後，進行之公開觀議課活動，並與本中心之EMI專家對話，以進行教學反思。本培訓結合教師專業發展、教師專業社群與教學活動，以「共備、觀課、議課」的實踐歷程，歷經一年的時間，陪伴EMI教師提升EMI教學品質。本書教案採用國立臺灣師範大學EMI教學資源中心發展之公開觀議課資源，包含教案發展指引、教案範例、教案表格、觀議課規準，與觀課紀錄表等配套資源，引導EMI教學設計架構，與公開可對話之EMI課程發展實踐模式。此公開觀議課工具包以引導式敘述，幫助教師從「學生先備知識的喚醒」出發，層層展開至教學內容的呈現、學習活動的設計、實作與反思的安排。強調EMI教學不僅是語言的轉換，更是教學方法的轉型與專業思維的精煉。授課教師與導師同步共備中，會共同進行學習者需求分析、設計課程目標與學習目標；教學設計更細分九個步驟，以訊息處理理論進行規劃，包含引起注意、告知學習目標、喚起先備知識、呈現教學內容、提供學習指導、引導實作與演練、給予回饋、評量學習成果，最後是促進遷移與鞏固學習。所有教案皆通過匿名雙向審查機制，內容涵蓋理工、生醫、人文、管理等多元領域，展現教師將國際視野、本土需求與教學創新融合的深厚實力。透過此培訓所發展出的全英語授課教案，具高度實用性與參考價值。本書為EMI教學者提供具體可行的課堂設計參考，亦為高等教育中雙語教學的深化與制度化提供實踐範式。本書不僅是一部教案集，更是EMI推動歷程中一份關於課堂設計、跨國合作與教學成長的真實紀錄與專業貢獻。
