It shows up elsewhere as well, in a geographical and chronological pattern that displays interesting features related to the Middle Kingdom administration. She began to seek and gather examples, and shares her results and ponderings into the prosopography of officials holding the title imy-r w, doubtful readings, prosopography of officials holding the title qnbty n w and related titles, the w and other institutions, and phraseological evidence of w not referred to individuals. Officials with the title, she concludes, were engaged in security and public order, but also with sealing and unsealing items for storing and provisioning.
