第一本用社會科學方法詮釋《金剛經》的科普著作佛教經典深藏傳播學與廣告學的實用智慧，教你跳脫框架，真正做到應無所住而生其心。讀《金剛經》要一本正經，從佛學的角度來看它嗎？其實不用，以現代社會科學的學理來讀它，更能扣連時代脈動，彰顯其價值；這也是社會科學的科普化，用不同角度，跳脫窠臼框架，以學理檢視、獨立思考，宗教是感性，科學是理性，「感性+理性」成了「理智的浪漫」豈不更美。本書分A、B兩卷及結論，A卷是《金剛經》的完整譯文與重要名詞的說明，稱〈金剛經．辨〉，「辨」指區隔，逐句解析五千字原典；B卷是要義精進版，稱〈經剛經．辯〉，「辯」指討論，提出18 個《金剛經》重要觀念的現代性詮釋。《金剛經》的命名隱含行銷法則「第一定位」的要求。《金剛經》是門徒記錄整理的稿子，也是人為智慧的產出，就是「有為法」。「色聲香味觸法」幻術，也是政治傳播和商業直銷常用的招式，都是假相，為佛陀排斥的。滅度是消除舊認知、植入新觀念的過程，用現代的語言說，就是強制學習，類似洗腦。降伏其心要去除的其實是人在「社會化」後的灰色價值。理解「見象非相，似相亦象」就知道假新聞是怎麼回事。《金剛經》雖為佛典，但倒比較像2500餘年前古印度的智慧，內容慧黠有趣，然而2500年的時空阻隔、文明進步，如果還將《金剛經》當作聖經，不能批評，這可違背了佛陀的教誨，佛陀要我們「無住相（象）」，不拘泥禮法表象，也提醒我們「有為法，如夢幻泡影，如露亦如電」，包含《金剛經》在內一切人為智慧，都是可以被討論、質疑或挑戰的。◎ 本書採「偽」雙封面設計，封面是木頭人倒立看《金剛經》，但《金剛經》在哪裡？封面可一個字也沒有，《金剛經》有字，就是有為法的「象」，囿於框架規矩；沒字的《金剛經》，才是「相」，因無所住，故能生其心。封底似另一個封面，一塊文案隨著封面正看，另一塊要隨標題倒過來看。插圖是李幸潔《忘塵》，正看積極，倒看又是一番想像。所以啦，倒立看世界，世界真的不一樣。因此用社會科學理論詮釋《金剛經》，才會開啟另一扇窗。
