申請加入「跨太平洋夥伴全面進步協定」(Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership, CPTPP)為我國對外經貿戰略的重要目標，為能提前準備，實有必要預先針對核心公約重點「男女同工同酬與就業歧視禁止」之議題進行研究，以提出政府、企業及勞工面臨加入區域貿易協定議題的因應策略。 我國性別平等相關法制相較其他先進國家並不遜色，惟在企業法遵部分仍有進步空間，故本研究聚焦性別平等之議題，探討國內外(含：美國、英國、德國及日本)如何推動企業性別平等之經驗與作法，並召開焦點座談會議、辦理深度訪談以蒐集各界重要意見。經綜整及分析前開研究方法所蒐集到的資料後，本研究擬定推動企業性別平等之自我檢核項目，並邀請兩家企業進行實際測試，得到回饋意見後加以改善。
