2012 年，聯合國宣布每年的 10 月 11 日為國際女孩日（International Day of the Girl），而 10 月 11 日亦是「臺灣女孩日」，2022 年也是臺灣自 2013 年起推動「臺灣女孩日」的第 10 年。　今年國際女孩日的主題是「Girls Speak Up 女孩大聲說」，我在這天收到同仁女兒送給我一張畫，圖畫上充滿她大聲說著的夢想，她要成為十鼓的鼓術工作者，她要搭著 NASA 火箭飛往外太空，她也想要成為甜點師與動物飼養家。她的夢想也推動著我的夢想，我要鼓勵女孩們與所有的孩子們，都能勇敢做夢、勇敢探索，擁有實踐理想的勇氣。　延續著女孩的夢想，我想邀請大家到國立臺灣科學教育館參觀「可以動手做」的展覽──「設計我們的世界 - 科技性別化創新」。展覽自 2020 年開展，獲得許多好評與回應，後來成為常設展至今，這裡也是學校辦理戶外教學時，一個結合性別與科技的教學場域。透過展覽，除了認識在大時代的脈絡下，女性如何在工程、科學、醫學、建築等領域中成為重要的關鍵少數，也能啟發我們看見科技如何透過「性別化創新」，觀察日常生活，進而設計、改變並創造更平等的社會環境。11 月 5 日，在科教館與史汀實驗室的協助下舉辦第 1 屆的「性別議題教學年會——改變觀看世界的角度：科技 X 性別 X 教學」，吸引不同領域的朋友與現場教師齊聚一堂，透過交流分享，激盪許多想法，並應用在自己生活與工作之中。　我要祝福女孩們與所有的孩子們，未來不管在哪個領域都能發光發熱，更期許自己能與教育夥伴共同努力，給孩子們更多發展可能性，引導孩子找到自己，也能建立性別平等的價值，理解、包容、尊重多樣性與差異，每個人的未來發展可以不受性別限制，能不要害怕、盡情成為自己喜愛的模樣。 教育部長潘文忠
