An examination of the Counter-Enlightenment movement in China. In Modern Chinese Counter-Enlightenment, Peng Hsiao-yen argues that a trend of Counter-Enlightenment had grown from the late Qing to the May Fourth era in the 1910s to the 1920s and continued to the 1940s. She demonstrates how Counter-Enlightenment was manifested with case studies such as Lu Xun's writings in the late 1900s, the Aesthetic Education movement from the 1910s to 1920s, and the Science and Lifeview debate in the 1920s. During the period, the life philosophy movement, highlighting the epistemic debate on affect and reason, is connected with its counterparts in Germany, France, and Japan. K-SADS-E (Kiddie-Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School-Age Epidemiologic Version)是半結構式精神科診斷性會談工具，修訂自情感疾患與思覺失調症量表SADS (Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia)，增加兒童青少年精神疾患的內容，主要加入好發於兒童時期的注意力不足過動症、對立反抗症、行為規範障礙症及妥瑞氏症。K-SADS-E 的診斷性會談針對每個症狀下，有數個訪題協助會談，以確定症狀是否存在。會談開始獲得基本資料（見第vi 頁）及開場後，首先進行核心症狀的篩檢問題，若達篩檢標準即進入個別疾病的完整版會談，分別問最嚴重時，以及最近六個月的情形，可以系統化評估兒童青少年過去和現在的精神疾患，再依照診斷準則完成個別精神疾病的診斷。可以直接訪談兒童青少年本人，或訪談父母或其他主要照顧者有關孩子的情形，較嚴謹的診斷會談，會整合訪談受試者本人及其照顧者的資料。美國耶魯大學流行病學研究所Kathleen Ries Merikangas 教授，於1991 年授權K-SADS-E 英文版(1/1990) 給宋維村醫師所領導的修訂小組團隊，經過多次翻譯並考量臺灣的文化特質、語言、適用性，而完成第一版中文版K-SADS-E (DSM III-R)，也開始使用於國內的研究(Gau & Soong, 1999)。因應DSM-IV診斷準則的發表和使用於國內流行病學及臨床研究，以及高淑芬醫師的注意力不足過動症臨床神經心理學研究，因此在整合ICD-10 和DSM-IV 診斷準則，並參考鄭泰安醫師用於青少年流行病學研究的修訂版K-SADS-E物質使用部分，而修改成K-SADS-E中文1998 年版(Gau et al., 2005)。高淑芬醫師於1998-2001 年耶魯的博士研究期間，在Kathleen R.
