對多數人來說，電力很少被特別注意，或許只存在於按下開關後的明亮、遙控器一按就吹出的冷氣、睡前為手機插上充電線的一刻，或是帳單上每兩個月一次出現的數字。然而，隨著數位轉型時代來臨，各行各業更加重視服務品質與用戶感受，電力服務正逐步從單向供應，走向增強雙向互動的智慧化用電賦能。本期聚焦呈現智慧電表基礎設施（Advanced Metering Infrastructure，AMI）布建後的數位應用成果。當全臺超過410萬具智慧電表持續計算、回傳資料，如何將龐大的用電數據，轉譯為大眾看得懂、用得上的生活資訊，便成為台電近年推動數位轉型的核心挑戰之一。除了硬體升級，台電亦積極調整角色定位，從單純的發電與供電者，轉化為陪伴用戶的「能源管家」。透過手機下載「台灣電力APP」，讓AMI資訊落實為貼近生活需求、提升居家用電可視化的多元服務。經由人工智慧（Artificial Intelligence，AI）演算法導入，用戶透過台灣電力APP、無需安裝額外裝置，即可於「住宅用電分析」服務，看到家電耗能情形，使「節能」從口號轉化為有跡可循的日常行動。這些AMI資訊也在台電跨單位協作研發下，延伸至社會關懷應用，例如透過「用電作息指標」分析用電規律性，為獨居長者織起一張隱形的守護網。從台灣電力APP上的曲線圖表，到結合在地慶典的實體推廣活動，台電持續拉近電力與民眾之間的距離，讓電力服務不再只是生硬冰冷的公共建設，而是更貼近生活的日常服務，並期盼為臺灣智慧電力生活的未來藍圖，描繪出更具溫度的樣貌。
