體育文化通識讀本（簡體書）

《體育文化通識讀本》專門為體育院校學生編寫，主要供完成《大學英語課程教學要求》中規定的“一般要求”後繼續學習“較高要求”和“更高要求”英語課程的學生使用，同時也適用于體育英語愛好者、體育產業和體育休閒從業人員、體育文化與體育英語培訓機構和體育管理人員等。《體育文化通識讀本》以體育項目和體育文化為切入點，緊密圍繞體育運動相關話題，共包括8個單元。內容選自英美報章雜誌和新媒體，視角新穎、內容齊全，兼具趣味性與互動性。
《體育文化通識讀本》包括奧林匹克、體育科技、體育明星、足球運動、籃球運動、網球運動、棒球運動和體育志願者8個主題。這8個主題的選擇是基於教材編寫團隊對於當前國際體育運動與體育文化的認知，即所有主題均具有明顯與獨特的歷史與文化。奧林匹克開啟了現代體育運動，奧林匹克運動會是世界上影響力大的體育盛會；足球、籃球與網球運動在整個世界具有廣泛的影響力，是中國體育和文化與世界接軌的重要媒介；棒球運動是美國的“國球”，凝聚著美國體育文化與歷史的發展歷程，是美國國民性格的體現；體育科技、體育明星和體育志願者是現代體育運動的重要組成部分，極大地推動著現代體育運動的發展，但又往往被文獻書籍與教材所忽略。
