Craing Schwartz (John Cusack), a gifted street-puppeteer, finds that New York City has little use for his special talents. Charlie Kaufman is the writer of the films being John Malkovich (1999), Human Nature (2001), Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002), Adaptation (2002), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), and Synecdoche, New York (2008). Initially coming from a background in theater and film, kaufman has also had a successful run as a TV writer, working on such shows as Get a Life and The Dana Carvey Show. He lives in California with his family.
