James Thorp is a Professor and Senior Scientist at the University of Kansas. He has published many journal articles and books in aquatic ecology and invertebrate zoology, and his research spans a great diversity of invertebrate types.
Christopher Rogers is an invertebrate zoologist with the Kansas Biological Survey. He is an internationally recognized expert on fairy shrimp, tadpole shrimp and clam shrimp, and has discovered and described numerous new crustacean species and genera.
