Judith Burnett is Dean of the School of Law, Social Sciences and Communications at the University of Wolverhampton, UK. She is the author of articles on the problem of researching generations and social cohesion as well as works in the field of education and biography. She has published Doing Your Social Science Dissertation, The Myths of Technology: Innovation and Inequality (with P. Senker and K. Walker) and is editor of Contemporary Adulthood: Calendars, Cartographies and Constructions (Palgrave Macmillan). Judith is Vice Chair of the British Sociological Association.
Syd Jeffers is Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the University of East London, UK. He formerly taught at the University of Leicester and was a Senior Research Fellow at the School for Advanced Urban Studies at the University of Bristol. He is currently a trustee of the BSA and is a member of the Editorial Collective of the journal Critical Social Policy.
Graham Thomas is Senior Lecturer in Innovation Studies at the University of East London, UK. His research interests focus on the relations between innovation and policy-making (and policy shaping) in the area of networked infrastructure and services. He is an active member of the European University Association for the Study of Society, Science and Technology (ESST).
