商品簡介
American political scientist Nadolski explores the political, economic, and social challenges confronting Turkey in its bid for membership in the European Union. She distinguishes between internal reforms initiated by the nation's own leaders, and external reforms led by untrusted leaders often in the form of warfare. Exogenous globalized forces in the interdependent system of nations have impacted Turkey's political and socio-economic institutions, she finds, and the country has encountered difficulties restructuring its institutions to accommodate these forces.
