商品簡介
Callaway presents Emerson's 1860 text nearly in its original form, but has modernized the 19th-century spelling. He has also added annotations, a chronology, a bibliography, and an index. His goal is to present the work as a philosophical treatise, believing that the attention given to Emerson as a literary writer has dulled the edge of his ideas for many modern readers.
