Garet Garrett (1878-1954) was an American journalist whose critiques of the New Deal and of the foreign policy commitments of Franklin Roosevelt and Harry Truman retain significant influence among sectors of the libertarian right. This book by Ramsey (an editorial columnist for the Seattle Times) is the first full biography of Garrett. Ramsey follows the course of Garrett's newspaper career together with the substance of his ideas as revealed in his 15 novels, his newspaper essays, and other writings. 作者簡介
Bruce Ramsey writes editorials and an editorial column for the Seattle Times and is a freelance contributor to the libertarian magazine Liberty. He has edited three collections of Garet Garrett's essays for Caxton Press. He lives in Seattle with his wife and son.
