A middle-aged widow retires to Ridgeville in an attempt to rebuild a life shattered by the loss of her husband. As she attempts to begin anew amidst this turmoil, she is welcomed into the group of friends and even begins to embrace the possibility of new love. She develops a relationship with a previous co-worker that emerges without physical contact, an Internet affair that takes her on a rollercoaster ride of love and passion.
