Deb Delisle has been an educator for more than twenty years. Currently Director of Curriculum for West Geauga School District in Ohio, Deb has also been a primary teacher, gifted education teacher, public school administrator, and university instructor. Deb has been listed in Who's Who Among American Teachers, was a finalist for the Ohio Teacher of the Year, and was selected as one of America's Top Twenty Educators by Learning magazine and the Oldsmobile Corporation. Deb serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Roeper Review and is a committee member of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Deb frequently conducts workshops for educators on curriculum development, global awareness, and alternative assessment. Deb lives in Kent, Ohio, with her husband, Jim, their son, Matt (when he is not attending college in Boston), and their cat, who never travels.
