For his 2006 Ph.D. at the University of Glasgow, Henriksen (airpower, Royal Norwegian Air Force Academy) wrote a dissertation on NATO's use of airpower in Kosovo. This study presumably draws from that but does not seem to be derived from it. Here he examines the key political, diplomatic, and military processes that shaped the NATO's crisis management, and how it utilized airpower as its key instrument of strategy to coerce the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia to say uncle.
