Frank Dunne is a soccer writer and amateur soccer coach based in Bologna, Italy. He writes about Italian soccer for The Independent, FIFA Magazine and FourFourTwo magazine and writes a regular feature on soccer coaching in Italy for the magazine Soccer Coaching International. He has also written about Italian soccer for the Financial Times, World Soccer, TV Sports Markets and SportBusiness International. He has coached in the Soccer School at San Donato Calcio, Bologna, since September 2000. Born in Manchester in 1961, the author grew up in Old Trafford, close to Manchester United’s stadium.
