商品簡介
A unique offering in the practice of books on writing. It takes its inspiration from the Rockies, but the lessons are applicable anywhere. A journey on foot into the wild is called a hike, backpack, trek or walkabout. Whatever the season, terrain or vista, wilderness offers deep inspiration for creativity and the hiking trail becomes The Writer's Trail. Whether you are in the wilderness, or peering into the wilderness of your imagination, join writer Cinny Green as she links elements of writing craft to her moments of inspiration crossing mesa deserts, mountain creeks and alpine tundra. Using the actual trail experience, melded with her writing workshop experience, the writing lessons include themes of - Dialogue, - Conflict, - Animal Imagery, - Telling Details, - Myth and Story, - Personality, and - Resolution. Numerous writing exercises are referenced in boxes called "Writer's Trail."
