作者簡介
Jules Verne (1828-1905) was born in Nantes, France, and trained for the law. After moving to Paris, he mixed with literary giants such as Alexander Dumas and Victor Hugo. His first science-based novel was Five Weeks in a Balloon in 1862, which made him famous. He wrote dozens more adventures including 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in 1869 and Around the World in Eighty Days in 1872. He died in Amiens.
