The archival photographs from the excavations and field work at Gurob, Sedment, and Tarkhan in the collection of the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Art, University College London, are the focus of this volume; later volumes will presumably publish other sites. Each site receives an extensive chapter outlining the archaeological field history and evidence, complete with numerous photographs, previously unpublished.
