The History of Motor Sport：A Case Study Analysis

This book examines the evolution of motor sport from its creation in central Europe, throughout the rest of the continent and elsewhere, including in both North and South America.
It was published as a special issue of the International Journal of the History of Sport.

David Hassan is a Senior Lecturer in Sport Studies at the University of Ulster. He is Academic Editor of Sport in Society (Taylor and Francis Ltd.) and has guest edited a number of leading journals in the field. He is Series Editor (with Dr. Allan Edwards) of Foundations of Sport Management (a new Routledge series) and has published extensively in the social, political and historical significance of sport.
