商品簡介
This catalogue is the accompaniment to an exhibit of the prints of Edvard Munch. Prelinger (art history, Georgetown University) and Robison, curator at the National Gallery of Art, provide the background to the making of the prints. Munch, best known for his iconic image "The Scream" created many variations of the same theme in his prints, which he made partially to pay the bills. The authors guide the viewer through the many forms of the prints, which are reproduced here. The arrangement of the works by subject gives a new dimension to the understanding of a profound artist.
