商品簡介
Well-known as a key theological work opposing the teaching of Wyclif and the Lollards, Netter's massive treatise receives new consideration in this study. Assessing the work on its own terms, Alban (Bursar General of the Carmelite Order, he holds a doctorate in church history from the U. of London, the UK) systematically discusses the text, considering Netter's opinions on the topic at hand and contrasting his writings with those of Wyclif and the Lollards, as well as other 15th-century theologians. The result is a clear, thorough, and weighty treatment of a seminal text and a much needed appreciation of its author. The volume concludes with a thorough bibliography of primary and secondary sources. It is distributed in North America by The David Brown Book Co.
