This interactive CD-ROM is broken up into three different tracks to suit a student's individual needs: acute care, long-term care and home care. The CD-ROM is an assessment based tool which includes approximately 1,200 questions - 400 for each track. The software includes review tests, multiple question types (multiple choice, true/false and click and drag tables for matching and sequencing), glossary, student summary, reporting and statistics. Within each track there are two modes - tutorial and testing. The tutorial mode will include hints and rationales with each question, as well as access to a glossary. The testing mode allows learners to select questions by type, quantity, and subject to test their knowledge. Video, audio and graphics are included for reinforcement of concepts.
