Crime State Rankings 2011

Filled with tables of crime statistics such as "Average Time between Crimes in 2009" and "Adults on State Parole in 2009," this is an annual reference volume that has been published since 1994. Except for the 2011 state crime rate rankings at the beginning, almost all of the statistics presented throughout are either from 2008/2009 or encompass a range of dates, such as 2005 to 2009. The main authors have compiled books of state and city rankings for almost two decades. An introduction by Boba (criminology and criminal justice, Florida Atlantic U.) notes the sources of data and explains the methodology used, with graphs showing the nature of distribution analysis.
