Non-muslims in Muslim Majority Societies

Muslim and Christian scholars affiliated with universities in Pakistan, Sweden, Lebanon, and Palestine offer 11 articles discussing the experiences of non-Muslims in countries with a Muslim majority. Topics broached include managing Christian-Muslim relations in a Pakistani setting, faith based organizations and the configuration of civil society in the Middle East and North Africa, Islamization of laws in Pakistan, non-Muslim women in Pakistan, and non-Muslims in Palestine. A lengthy bibliography is provided, however the work has not been indexed. Kasja Ahlstand is Professor of Mission Studies at Uppsala University. Goran Gunner is a researcher at the Church of Sweden Research Department and an associate professor at the University of Uppsala.
