John Louis DiGaetani?teaches English at Hofstra University. He has several published works on British literature, modern literature, and the links between literature and music. His published works include?Richard Wagner: New Light on a Musical Life,?Richard Wagner and the Modern British Novel,?Puccini the Thinker, and?A Search for a Postmodern Theater: Interviews with Contemporary Playwrights.?He received his PhD from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
