They say the catalogue provides a much larger list of works than previous references, and more reliable publishing data than any other single printed or online source. The arrangement is alphabetical by author. A comprehensive index would be as large as this volume, and they intend to get to that someday. Lawrence D. Green is Professor at the Department of English, University of Southern California, USA, and President of the International Society for the History of Rhetoric, 2003-2005. James J. Murphy is Professor at the Department of English, University of California-Davis, USA. He co-founded the International Society for the History of Rhetoric and was president, 1979-1981. He is the founding editor of the journal Rhetorica.
