Heather is author of the fun and comical The Fish in Room 11, which was published in 2004 by Chicken House. In this tale, young Toby meets and becomes fond of Eliza Flot and her family, who just so happen to be mermaids! The book creatively tells the story of their happenstance friendship and Toby’s sly idea to disguise the Flots as hotel guests, but hiding fins, scales, and tails is harder than he thinks!
Heather is also the author of The Girl With the Broken Wing, which is scheduled to be reprinted in 2007.
