East, East Asian Sport Thoughts, is a yearly journal contributed by the professionals in the different files of Sports from university and we are honor to be the first domestic Sociology of Sport journal which written in English in Taiwan. The articles provide many important references and practical approach to help open our sports society the vision of.
We expect EAST to be a leading guide giving readers view the Sociology of Sports in international ways and provide researchers different thoughts and latest opinions when do the studies about Sports of Sociology.
《東亞運動思潮》期刊是國內運動社會學界第一本全英文出刊的英文期刊，定期於每年出版，刊出的文章提供運動社會學許多重要的研究參考文獻與實務方針，有助於打開我們對於運動社會學的視野。
在EAST期刊上所發表論文，大部分皆是具有國際研究能力與聲望的運動社會學權威學者群所編審，閱讀本期刊將是與國際學術接軌的重要途徑。
本期刊主要的目的是要給予從事運動社會學的研究者一些國際上新興的觀點與議題，提供研究者們更多深層的思考。此外也提供給對運動社會學有興趣的讀者一個以不同觀點來思考運動社會學的國際刊物。
