Stoianoff (law, University of Wollongong, Australia) collects contributions from lawyers, scientists, and policy makers on issues related to the use of biological and genetic resources for commercial and scientific purposes. While emphasis is on the Convention on Biological Diversity and the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture, there is also material on the WTO Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights. Issues are addressed on the national, regional, and international levels, with focus on the Australian experience.
